Since termites feed primarily on wood, they can of compromise the strength and safety of a home or business-infested structure and can cause severe damage. Based on the degree of termite infestation, we can create a termite treatment plan tailored for you. This can include a variety of treatments dependent on the areas of usage, situations, and species of termite.
We offer 2 types of Termite treatment inspections:
1) Homeowner Inspection- We perform a visual inspection and then draw a map of evidence of Infestation or Damage. We provide a Termite Agreement for Structural Treatment. All of ourtermite treatment control services are provided by a Licensed, Bonded Technician. The termite treatment plan may include 6” trench around the perimeter of the home and/ or drilling holes into concrete patios to apply 80 to 100 gallons of Imidacloprid Termite Treatment.
2) Real Estate Transaction Inspection- A termite treatment impsection has to be completed when you are buying or selling a home and we follow the same inspection and treatment protocol as the Homeowner Inspection. The initial findings are filed with the Arizona Office of Pest Management. We report on conducive conditions, active, old evidence or previous termite treatment. Registering the application treatment with the Arizona Office of Pest Management Termite Reports
Chemical Sensitivity
If you or any member of your household is sensitive to chemicals, or chemical odors, you should consult your doctor before chemicals are applied in, on or around your structure. Sun Lakes Pest Control treats using termite treatment products approved by the Arizona Department of Agriculture. All of these products have received Federal registration as well.
Did you know? Subterranean Termites live in colonies from 500k to several million. You will probably never see the Queen Termite responsible for reproducing the colony but she can live up to 30 years. Worker termites are the ones you will see building the mud tubes or in interior sheetrock walls, they are blind and wingless but cause damage to anything made of wood or wood products.
